Our Story
In the midst of a world torn by the COVID-19 pandemic, my family and I, uprooted from our 6-year life in Malaysia, found ourselves plunged back into Canada. My husband, stranded in another country, and I, with our four (eventually five) kids, sought refuge in my parents' basement. It was a time of turmoil, a roller coaster through the pandemic’s rise, where scraping together every cent was our daily challenge.
Amidst this struggle, nestled on our sofa, a pivotal AHA moment struck me. It was time to embark on a bold, crazy business venture, a beacon of hope for financial freedom. As a passionate homeschooler for 13 years, the confines of home couldn't cage my ambition. I dove into YouTube, immersing myself in a sea of potential business ventures, searching for that one golden opportunity.

Then, it clicked. Website creation for businesses. My forgotten flair from a Grade 9 Media Arts course, once a mere hobby, now gleamed with possibility. I remembered the sites I had crafted, the seeds of a grander vision. 2015 marked the inception of FUSION DESIGN, initially a brainchild for graphic designs, co-founded with my husband. But now, fueled by resilience and an unyielding drive, I transformed it. It wasn't just about changing our future; it was about rewriting our destiny and many others. In the whirlwind of the past 15 years, I've been blessed with the opportunity to work alongside numerous NGOs as well.
I've executed effective email campaigns, delved into the art of paid advertisements, and harnessed the power of viral organic marketing tactics. Each of these endeavors has not only fortified my skill set but also reinforced my belief in the transformative power of strategic marketing and its ability to elevate organizations and ideas to new heights, ultimately driving growth and innovation.
